In the 2023 iGEM, the goal of the NEU-CHINA team is to design a living functional biofilm that can be applied to marine metal corrosion protection, and improve the anti-corrosion ability of bio-coatings through molecular biology. The NEU-CHINA team began in May 2023 to enter a half-month project exploration period to consider whether our project would benefit the world. After that, we began experimentation, education, human practice, etc., and completed the project through collaboration and the help of others, a process that continued until September 2023. In September 2023, we started building the wiki and preparing the demo.
