Grand Jamboree results
We are delighted to announce that the iGEM Team Toulouse-INSA-UPS has won a Gold Medal for its work this summer. This achievement truly shows our commitment in the CALIPSO project.
Toulouse has succeeded in achieving a Gold Medal each year that it has participated in the iGEM Competition. We are proud to have upheld the reputation of this great team. We hope that our success will inspire future iGEM Teams to do their very best as well.
Best Therapeutics Project
In recognition of our efforts on the project as a whole, we were nominated for the Special Prize for Best Therapeutics Project. This means a lot to us, as this track was very popular and featured many great projects!
Best Measurement
The nomination in this track recognizes our efforts to provide an integrative approach and combine all working modules into one liposomal platform targeting tumor cells. Our method is ready to be used by future iGEM teams, with all the comprehensive information available on our best measurement page to ensure accessibility and reproducibility.
Best Model
We successfully built a kinetic model to predict and enhance anticancer drug production. This model guided our experiments and the results were used to calibrate the model. In parallel, we optimized our two-partite T7 RNA polymerase by structural modeling, using advanced algorithms. This nomination acknowledges the quality of our models, both kinetic and structural.
Best Presentation
We were determined to create a video that would be clear and capable of conveying our pride in building the CALIPSO project. This nomination for the best presentation signifies that we have succeeded in showcasing our efforts, ambitions, and hopes. You can find our presentation video here!
