Best Basic Part

This year our team used a lot of parts, and we uploaded 14 parts on iGEM

What we are most proud of is that our team has brought a new part to iGEM for the first time: HMGB1. It is a ubiquitous nuclear protein in mammals that binds and bends DNA. We applied it to the biofilm treatment. Moreover, the ability of its A box and B box to disrupt biofilm formation, which could represent its DNA binding capacity, was also studied. We hope that future teams will continue to build on this foundation, or use this part to discover new features that can be used more widely. For details, please visit: BBa_K4785005
