Parts

1. Overview

2023 HUBU-SKY-China IGEM team has designed a total of 58 parts, including 54 basic parts and 4 composite parts. We have tested all the parts and uploaded the data to our part interface.

2. Basic part

Among the 54 basic parts designed this year, we like the Linker between the 7 proteins the most, because they are like the bridge connecting the whole project. They connect many scattered parts into a whole, so that all parts can function normally. For more information, please click on BBa_k4927001.

3. Composite part

Our favorite composite part is BBa_k4927058.

BBa_k4927058 is our protein scaffold based on E. coli IM and CE, Composed of BBa_J64997, BBa_K4927048, BBa_K4927008, BBa_K4927001, BBa_K4927009 BBa_K4927002, BBa_K4927010, BBa_K4927003, BBa_K4927011 And BBa_K4927043. In these parts, IM2, IM7, IM8 and IM9 will combine with corresponding enzymes labeled CL2, CL7, CL8 and CL9 to form artificial multi-enzyme complexes (FIG. 1), forming substrate channel effect and improving the reaction efficiency of the whole system.
