In order to know current state of diagnosis, treatment and theranostics for triple-negative breast cancer in hospital, we have met with Dr. Lin Zhang who is the chief medical doctor in Tongji Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, P. R. China. Her online lecture in Tencent Meeting have motivated and inspired us to explore further. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are crucial for the positive prognosis of TNBC. Recently, theranostics has emerged as a new strategy that represents the simultaneous diagnosis, imaging, and treatment of cancers. It may provide timely and improved patient care via personalized therapy. With nanotheranostics, cell-specific targeting moieties, imaging agents, and therapeutic agents can be combined within a single formulation for effective treatment.
