Li Xinyan

Hi, my name is Li Xinyan, a tenth grader. I am always enthusiastic about sports, such as equestrian, tennis, billiards and so on. I am a PADI Open Water certified diver and a two-star tailwave surfer certified by the General Administration of Sport of China. Some simple but interesting experiments always arouse my interest, and I also enjoy organizing scientific exploration activities with the members of the group in my school. Of course, it is always necessary to discuss experimental theories with others from time to time. In these processes, can always learn new knowledge from other members, which encourages me to keep learning, be careful and responsible in every step, take every communication seriously, and always have an open mind and be willing to share conclusions.

Wang Jiayu

Hi there! This is Wang Jiayu, a sixteen-year-old girl and rising junior from Shanghai Soong Ching Ling School who will be going to the US for high school next year. My list of random hobbies include biology, astrophysics, linguistics, and sleep, to name a few. I take pride in my curiosity and enjoy exploring this world through various different perspectives  such as books (duh), art (like calligraphy, photography, and drawing), and all kinds of sports (ranging from frisbee and triathlon to surfing and snowboarding). A firm feminist, type-one-diabetic unsatisfied with the unequal medical system, completely unrealistic utopian daydreamer and I guess just overall activist, I believe in change for the better and hope that my existence can help make this world a better place, even if just by the tiniest bit. Through this iGEM journey, I look forward to having the most memorable experience with you all while learning something we’re all passionate about and taking this power to make an impact.

Hello, my name is Zhiyuan Luan. I am a senior high school student from The Attached Middle School To Jiangxi Normal University. I am seventeen years old now. I live in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China.
