On May 28, 2023, in order to strengthen the communication within the iGEM community and gain a more comprehensive understanding of each other's projects and work, we reached out to the iGEM team from Central South University for a discussion. We hoped to learn about the original intentions and progress of each other's projects and to discuss the difficulties and challenges faced by both teams in their respective endeavors. Through this meeting, we enhanced communication in various aspects with the Central South iGEM team, and our team members formed strong friendships. Additionally, both teams brought new insights and opportunities to the table.

On the evening of June 28, 2023, we had a 2-hour online exchange with the Macau University iGEM team. The team leaders from both sides presented detailed information about their respective projects, including project background, experimental methods, and models. During the meeting, we discussed our progress, major challenges, and explored potential areas of collaboration to improve our project plans. This exchange not only strengthened communication between our team and the Macau University iGEM team in various aspects but also fostered a deep friendship among team members.

From July 8th to July 10th, 2023, four members of our team traveled to Hainan to attend the CCiC Exchange Meeting (Conference of China iGEMer Community), which is a national exchange conference initiated by iGEM participating teams in China.

Currently, the CCiC conference has become one of the largest academic conferences for college students in China. During the conference, iGEM teams from all over China gathered to exchange ideas about project design and progress, engage in intellectual discussions, and receive questions and suggestions from guests and judges. Additionally, there were also exciting lectures presented by experts and scholars in the field of synthetic biology.
