Prof. E. Nakkeeran

He is the Secondary Principal Investigator. His areas of interest include Bioprocess Engineering, Downstream Processing, and Food Process Engineering. He is also the Head of the Department of Biotechnology and has been of immense help throughout the course of the project. He has been an exceptional mentor and we are grateful for his unwavering support throughout our iGEM journey.

Dr. K. Divakar

Meet one of our instructors! His areas of interest include Metagenomics, Biocatalysis, Bioprocessing, and Fermentation Technology. As a Bioinformatics expert, he played a pivotal role in computational studies and provided insightful interpretations. With his expertise, we organized interactive workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs, all designed to foster a greater understanding of the implications and potential of our work.

Mr. J. Hariharan

Meet our other instructor! His areas of interest include Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology. With his expertise, we were able to navigate complex experiments, troubleshoot effectively, and make substantial progress in our research. Beyond the technical aspects, his ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member feels valued is nothing short of extraordinary.

Meet one of our team leads! She is a final-year biotechnology student. She makes sure all deadlines are met with her consistent hard work and patience. She is in charge of our wiki page.

Vibhushini

She is the other team lead. She is a final-year biotechnology student who takes care of the lab work with immense passion and dedication. She is the technical team coordinator and takes full charge of the lab work, from ordering stuff to getting results. She enthusiastically takes care of the events for HP too.

Maanasa

Her creativity and calmness make her a valuable team member. She is a final-year biotechnology student who is the management team coordinator. She was in charge of conducting surveys and public relations, including approaching sponsors.

Harini

She is a versatile and easygoing final-year biotechnology student who contributes to the management team. She is the social media team coordinator. She took on the responsibility of preparing posts and presentations and also reaching out to sponsors.

Thapasvi

He is a final-year biotechnology student who enthusiastically takes charge of the finance and funding team. His consistent energy and way of speaking make him appropriate for the role. He also helps out in the lab and takes care of event management.

Madhumitha

Madhumitha She is a final-year biotechnology student who helps out on the finance and funding team by approaching sponsors for funding. She shines among people, which makes her perfect for the role. She also helps out in the lab.

Ragini

Being a dedicated final-year biotechnology student who loves to be around people, she contributes to the finance and funding team and the lab team. She loves statistics and has collected valuable information for the team.

Arun Pravin

He is a third-year biotechnology student. He contributes to the lab team. He also enthusiastically participates in conducting events for HP and during farm visits.

He is a committed third-year biotechnology student. He played a vital role in the management team. He actively takes part in conducting surveys and reaching out to sponsors for funding.
