Introduction
We designed a resin fluid device,which has a couple of inlets and vacuum outlets. The material we chose is Formlabs BioMed Clear, which is to print implants for medical use. Our device aims to provide a continuous culture medium flow, which to keep the cells in a nutrition-sufficient environment without cross-pollution.
The Device
This device’s inlets are lower than the outlets, which to make sure the new medium start replace the old medium from the bottom. And the outlets are connected with a vacuum waste container to collect the medium. For the inlets exists a set of U-shape pipe to balance every wells’ flow. That means we need to set the liquid pump at a relatively low speed.
