Project expectations statement:It’s such a wonderful experience when taking experiments during iGEM. I met many interesting people and it was the first time that I spent 2 weeks in the lab! Moreover, I have learned some recent genetic modification technologies from my guide teachers. Therefore, I had a greater understanding about plants, especially sweet potatoes among the peers. It is magical when I realized that sweet potatoes are very suitable for biodegradable plastics and I hope that this project can benefit more people and further improve the process of production of biodegradable plastics
