cat-egorical keys to genetic wonder
Our team contributed several new parts to the iGEM registry. We contributed our forward and reverse primers that we designed in order to completely linearize our M13KE phage vector so that we may insert our epitope into the sequence, so that it will present the epitope and penetrate the mucus layer and move through the epithelial cells into the lymph, where is can produce and immune response. We also contributed our three epitopes that we designed or found with the overhands needed in order to correctly insert itself into the phage.
