BNUZH-China is a dynamic and passionate team of individuals dedicated to achieving excellence through the season. With a diverse range of majors, we work collaboratively to tackle complex challenges and deliver scientific solutions. This year, our team consists of 21 students, 3 excellent advisors, and 5 experienced teachers. It is the love of synthetic biology that brings us together. Each member contributes their creative ideas and unique skills, creating inclusive environment where personal opinions are valued and innovation is nurtured. Our project, FeFighterS, is both creative and challenging. We induced ferroptosis in cancer cells with engineered attenuated Salmonella, aiming to providing a new strategy for cancers and reduce treatment burden on patients. We encountered many unexpected difficulties, but thanks to the persistence of all the members and the help of the teachers and related experts, we finally completed the project successfully!
