Emelie is studying for a MSc in Biotechnology with particular interest in molecular processes in microbiology. She was involved in the overall organisation as one of the team's student leaders. Additionally, she formed part of the Fundraising team and worked on the inclusivity project.

Emil is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mathematics. He loves learning new things and enjoyed getting to know lab work in the directed evolution lab group. In his role as student leader, he was involved in the overall organization, while also spearheading the wiki programming team.

A significant part of Stefanie's master's degree in Biotech was the passionate leading of the iGEM team 2023. Her interests lay in molecular microbiology and protein engineering. She was engaged in various fields to oversee the iGEM project and provide advisory support, especially participating in the directed evolution lab group and the storytelling focus group.

Edith is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biosciences. In iGEM, her ideas have inspired projects, and she has actively engaged in various focus groups. She mostly took on the role of an event planner and ensured her presence at these events. She was also the group leader of the Storytelling focus group. In biology, her main interests lie in biomedicine and parasitology.

Currently Tobias is pursuing a master`s degree in Biotechnology. He is especially interested in microbiology and molecular biology. During the iGEM project he took the role of group leader for the assembly of expression systems and was part of the Social Media and Teambuilding focus groups.

Lukas is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biosciences. During iGEM he has led the group of public work. In the course of this he took part in various visits of facilities. Additionally he participated in the Organisation focus group. He is especially interested in biomedicine and molecular biology in general.

Phil is pursuing a master’s degree in Biotechnology with a focus on molecular biology and protein engineering. He was involved in the evolution lab group and in the overall visualization and the direction of the wiki page, the logo and the promotion video.

Malte is pursuing a master's degree in Biotechnology, with a strong interest in molecular biology. During his involvement in iGEM, he specialized in developing protocols for biochemical processes. Additionally, he actively contributed to the team's cohesion as part of the Teambuilding focus group, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Kilian is currently pursuing a MSc in Biotechnology with a particular interest in molecular engineering and biotechnological processes. He was the group leader of the fundraising team, as well as the directed evolution lab group, where he designed and coordinated the experimental workflow.

As a bachelor's student in Biosciences, Janis was excited to apply his theoretical knowledge in a practical context. He put his efforts into background research and was involved in labwork as well as fundraising. He also worked on minor organisational matters before leaving Germany for his exchange semester at the University of Sydney, during which he contributed through work on the teams’ wiki.

Alex is pursuing a master's degree in Biotechnology. His main focus is on the intersection between biological and medical science. During iGEM he was a part of the Organization focus group, as well as the directed evolution lab group. In addition, he was involved in the wiki programming team.

Hannah is studying for her bachelor’s degree in Biosciences. She is especially fascinated by processes happening on a micro scale, from biochemistry over genetics to proteomics. Her primary engagement at iGEM was the preparation and delivery of several presentations as well as organizational tasks, such as overseeing the iGEM deliverables.

As a physics student, Julian got exciting insights into the world of synthetic biology while assisting in the wet-lab. He acquired basic skills and knowledge for working in the biotech laboratory. His main attribution to the team was in Human practices and Education for example, through developing and implementing the podcast and other public work.

As part of Dennis’ journey, he co-developed the project “BeeVax” during his participation in iGEM. His contributions extend to various facets, from coding as a member of the wiki programming team to involvement in modeling, laboratory work for random mutagenesis, and in planning and executing public outreach initiatives.

Lennard studies for his bachelor’s degree in Biosciences and took iGEM as an opportunity to get to known a case study of the combination of organismic interactions with their biochemical systems. He also was a part of the Teambuilding and Public Relations focus group and lent his voice for several podcast episodes.

In both iGEM and biology, Niko enjoys gaining knowledge and working on as many different aspects as possible. He led the Organization focus group and was involved in Public Relations. He also extended his expertise to wiki development and routinely conducted experiments in the wet lab.

Currently, Luca-Marie is pursuing a bachelor's degree in the field of Biosciences. With a keen interest in reproductive Biology, Immunology, and biotechnological processes, she enthusiastically participated in the iGEM competition. Within the team, she dedicated herself to the Education and Inclusivity aspect, taking on an organizing and interactive role.

Julia is currently studying for an MSc in Biotechnology. She was part of the fundraising and social media team, representing the team to the public. In the wet lab, Julia regularly performed experiments and contributed to the project results.

IGEM was the perfect opportunity to acquire knowledge in a different field of Biology for Thomas as an MSc in Biotechnology who focuses on seed research and development. His main areas of responsibility were fundraising and public relations. Furthermore, Thomas regularly designed and performed experiments in the wet lab.
Sabiene is studying the subject of Collaborative Honey Acquisition. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree. In her free time, Sabiene likes to fly through colorful flower meadows, discover new places and make new friends. She decided to collaborate in our project to get one step ahead of her arch enemy, Victor the Varroa mite.

As a former student leader of iGEM Münster 2022, Theresa was able to provide feedback and advice on project organization and development. She is currently doing her master's in Molecular Biomedicine and has a bachelor's degree in biotechnology.

Lasse was a part of the dry & wet lab group of iGEM Münster 2022. This year he advised the team on the conceptualization of the project, its results and their communication. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Biotechnology where he focuses on synthetic and evolutionary biology.

Max is a PhD student at the University of Münster supporting the team since last year as an advisor/instructor. He was supporting the iGEM team in scientific questions as well as in the organization of experiments.

Pia is a PhD student at the University of Münster in the field of bioprocess engineering and molecular biology. She supports the iGEM team as an instructor in technical and scientific questions in the wet lab.

Jochen Schmid is the official PI of the Münster iGEM team and took the initiative to start the first iGEM Münster team in 2022. His research is in the field of synthetic biology and bioprocess engineering with a special focus on biopolymers. He highly likes the iGEM competition and tries to support the team as good as possible.
