Safety was one of our issue, all the time. So we took a deep care.

• Lab safety

Our research at iGEM UIncheon 2023 aligns with the 2023 iGEM safety policies and rules. The organisms and components we use and generate are mostly from the iGEM 2023 White List. We assure strict adherence to all national and institutional regulations and guidelines.

• Human safety

Lab safety was one of our concerns. Since students with lab experiences in different lab in different universities are working together, our team tried hard to make one general safety rule that works well for everyone. To help team members, team leaders took responsibility of watching members meet the our general safety rule.
