In the era of multimedia information, the diversification of online tools has expanded our publicity channels. We have opened self-media accounts of WeChat official account, bilibili and Tik Tok, and used video uploading and comment area to solve doubts for everyone.We also set up a simple answer sheet for spider silk questions, so that people can understand the professional knowledge of spider silk in many aspects.


Offline preaching


We held a lecture on spider silk knowledge, aiming to let more people know about spider silk, reduce people's fear of spider silk, and make spider silk a more acceptable emerging material.We took the spider silk out of the laboratory, and had a spider drawing experience inside and outside the campus, so that people could really experience the practicality of spider silk materials and feel the charm of spider silk products.


Summary


In igem 2023, education runs through the whole process. We have carried out many activities on spider silk products. We have adopted online and offline methods for publicity and education.

Our project focuses on the science, technology, as well as the future and the teenagers, as the main body of the future, have become our main publicity targets. As far as spider silk itself is concerned, the terrible inherent impression of spiders will be daunting, making people's acceptance of spider silk products poor. We borrow a similar widely used product-sericulture silk, and introduce our topic-spider silk step by step, to introduce and popularize the relevant knowledge of spider silk and preach the new wave that spider silk will lead.
