My name is Wu Wanyi. You can also call me Winnie. I’m glad to join this team. The biggest characteristic of me is persistence, as long as I choose things and roads, I will be very determined to go on. In my high school life I chose to study Biology and I’m deeply fell in love with Biology. The reason why I participated the competition is that I want to contribute to the world in the field that I love. I hope the people who is suffering from illness can return to health soon enough.

Hello everyone, my name is Wenqing Li, I am from Bayi international department. In this Igem competition I am a wet-lab member. In the group, I usually help with Electrophoresis testing and gel recovery. I not only learned a lot of knowledge during the assemble for training but also enjoyed the time doing experiments with my partners. Even though, we sometimes met some obstacles, but because of our unite team spirit we usually could overcome it eventually. Therefore, I think we are the best team forever, no matter how far we separated apart, I will always remember them; and whenever I face difficulties, I will think about them, and give myself the courage which gained from this competition with my partners.

I was deeply obsessed with fascinated biological technique during my school day and dreaming of operating apparatus on my own. IGEM provides me an opportunity to get a hands-on experience and gives me an overview of doing research. My intense passion in biology research grows over time in the lab, and I can’t wait to begin my researching trip in the future. In addition, by designing the team logo and drawing pictures used in wiki, I found the way expressing biological knowledge trough the way of drawing……gains from IGEM is much more than I could express. Hello everyone, my name is Yuze Li. I am a student from Beijing NO.15 High School. Biology is my favourite subject in school; especially molecular biology, genetics, and evolution. In the igem competition, I am a wet lab member, who has done a lot of experiments. During the preparatory work, I learned the importance of teamwork and knowledge in biological experiments. In one experiment, we encountered a problem of an E. coli development problem. However, we worked together to find the solution and eventually successfully cultured E. coli containing the target gene fragment the next day. Of course, I also solved problems like the use of PCR instruments and homologous recombination technology ,which I did not understand before. Even though this journey has come to an end, the spirit of fighting with difficulties will always be preserved in my heart.

My name is Jialin Li.I’m from Beijing Financial Street Runze School grade 10. I'm a member of the wet lab. In the whole IGEM activity, I have a great harvest. I have seen many experimental instruments that I have never seen before, and I have learned a lot about biology and experimental instruments. In the whole process, I also know many like-minded friends, after the completion of the experimental task will go out to play, eat together, discuss life.

I’m Yushan Cao. I come from Admiral Farragut Academy Tianjin, China. Normally, I love the subject of biology. I like to read some books related to biology and watch animal documentaries by myself. I also like to observe some interesting objects with my microscope. Besides, I also have many hobbies, such as calligraphy, drawing, dancing, playing video games and so on. Through participating in iGEM activities, I have made many friends with the same interests and gained a lot of knowledge that I have never touched before. In the laboratory, I also learned a lot about the use of experimental equipment and the rules of the laboratory. We worked with each other during the experiment, and although the process didn't always go smoothly, we eventually got the results we wanted.

My name is Zihui Fan, and I am now studying at RDFZ Chaoyang branch school. I am 16 years old, a senior student, and a wet team member of the blue cancer team. I gained a lot in this IGEM project, and our team got to know each other and became familiar with each other. We discuss problems and doubts together, consult teachers constantly, and experiment. And I also learned a lot of unknown biological knowledge and the application of various instruments and the processing of data. Apart from that, I learned about teamwork and how to communicate effectively. Overall, it was a rewarding and unforgettable experience!

This is also my first time to participate in this type of activity，this time I join wet leb, in the process of experiment, I learned a lot of new techniques and knowledge. My name is Sichen Liu, and I graduated from The Second High School Affiliated to CNU, next term I’m going to RDFZ Xishan school to study in tenth grade. As a member of the wet lab, I learned about experimental techniques, like yeast two-hybrid, and using β-gal to test plasmid activity. What’s more important, I gained trust and friendship during the process. My team members and I solved problems like the development of E. coli being limited by unsuccessful plasmid connection, and reloading a contaminated culture dish. I cherish this wonderful experience and the everlasting friendship with my teachers and teammates.

I am a hands-on and diligent thinker. In this iGEM course, I have made more contributions to the team and have been exposed to some instruments and equipment that I have never been exposed to before. I have gained a lot in this course, first of all, I have learned a lot of professional knowledge. Secondly. Once, I also gained the friendship of my companions. The most important thing is teamwork. In my opinion, this time is the most meaningful thing. Through eight days of training, from the beginning of strangers to the last laughter, from the beginning of not using tools to the end of the experiment. From curiosity at the beginning to reluctance when leaving ... I think this is the most rewarding thing in this summer vacation. Hello everyone. I am Tianyu Zhu who is a student in Grade 11 from High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University. I am interested in Data Science, and I have made some analyzations about COVID 19 pandemics in Grade 10. I want to use what I have learnt in Data Science to solve real-life problems. In our IGEM team, I am a member of Wet Lab, and I need to use models and methods in statistics to collect and analyze the data that we have got from the lab experiments. I also use elaborate forms and graphs to make a better visual effect for the presence of our result. During the work of Wet Lab, I have done various kinds of operations such as PCR tests and Yeast Mating. I learnt a lot of interesting biological methods while working with my teammates. I also made good friends with my teammates. They are experts in different area, from biology to chemistry. I have learnt a lot from them.
