Laboratory safety

(1)No food and drink in the lab.

(3)Waste liquid collection

(4)The laboratory instruments and equipment storage shall be standardized and tidy.

(5)It can be quickly found and used the next time you look for laboratory equipment.

(6)It is necessary to check the laboratory frequently, eliminate safety hazards in time, cut off the power supply in time after use, and prohibit abnormal work electricity.

(7)When smelling the gas odor, "enlivening air into the nose" is strictly prohibited.

(8)Wear protective clothing and gloves in the laboratory to prevent corrosive liquids from splashing on the skin.

(9)Ensure materials are stored in a secure location.

(11)Updated Chemical inventories must be maintained in the laboratory and submitted to Environmental Health and Safety annually with the safety.

(12)Eye protection: impact protective goggles used when working with liquids; safety specs with side shields acceptable otherwise.

Project material safety

(1)Microorganism: Escherichia coli DH5-alpha and Yeast Y187/Y2Hgold are commonly and commercially used in research experiments with little harm to humans.

(2)Main gene materials were ordered from company.

(3)We don’t conduct any animal experiments and all research which requires any chemicals or organisms will be completed inside the laboratory.

(4)We don’t use any hazardous chemicals and all experimental waste will be disposed of properly and thrown into the sorting bin.
