During the development of our web application, we have implemented a number of safety measures.
We make sure that the data a user inputs and the output are only accessible to the user himself. So that the users don’t be afraid of the leakage of privacy.
The testing data is taken from open databases or repositories, such as Kaggle and PremPS (https://github.com/minghuilab/PremPS). The thermal stability data of mutants of KmAgos are collected in wet experiments from our collaborated lab with formal consent. The reliable data doesn't raise ethical issues.
To ensure people have access to necessary tools and information, we have developed an web application and made firewall settings to prevent our software from being attacked.
Throughout our project design process, we conducted the questionnaire surveys seriously. Before interviewing the public or researchers, we would state our purpose and promised not to invade their privacy.
