On August 12, several team members joined iGEM 2023 HK-Macau Symposium for idea exchange. Six teams, including both high school and University teams located in Hong Kong and Macau, shared their project ideas and progress respectively. The advice and idea shared each other are important for the iGEM community in Hong Kong. Also, it is an important opportunity for us to showcase our project idea to other teams to seek for advice from others.
On August 19, three team members, together with dozens of high school students, participated in the High School Synthetic Biology Workshop organized by CUHK iGEM team. Fundamental lab techniques and skills were being demonstrated there.
On August 25, four of our team members participated in 56th Joint School Science Exhibition (JSSE). A handful of high schools were selected to display their scientific idea. In there, we showcase the brief idea of our project concept with other teams and hundreds of public. Idea exchange among teams had driven us forward by suggesting invaluable comments to our project.
