Hi! My name’s Shefali, and I’m President of DNHS iGEM! This is my third year competing, and I absolutely love the educational and positive environment iGEM fosters, empowering curiosity in the synthetic biology field. My specialization is in SciComm/HP, but I help in all departments! I love working with such talented people, and am so excited to see our hard work pay off. In my free time I’m often reading or running, and listening to lots of music!

Hi! I’m Andrea and I’m a senior. This is my 2nd year in iGEM and I’m DNHS iGEM’s Head of HP & SciComm, so I’m responsible for organizing surveys, camps, and other interactions with our community! I love art and recently learned a little bit of animating for our iGEM promo vid :O Books are my form of escapism—I’m currently reading The Glass Menagerie—and I’m also really craving lychee cups.

Hi, I'm Grace! I'm currently a high school senior. I've had the privilege of participating in iGEM for 2 years and I'm currently Head of Software. Within iGEM, I've been fortunate to contribute to various aspects of our projects throughout the years, including modeling, wiki development, and wet lab research. Beyond my research endeavors, I'm an avid reader and love seeking new experiences.

Hello! I’m Zinia and am Head of Research and Lab for our iGEM team. I am in 11th grade and this is my second year competing. I am responsible for all the wet lab experiments like developing our biosensor, plasmids, and other parts. I also manage modeling and expert interviews. When I’m not doing research, I love playing classical music on my piano, traveling, and swimming.

Hi :) My name is Dishti and I’m currently a junior. This is my 2nd year in iGEM and I’m DNHS iGEM’s Head of Logistics, so I manage all the deadlines and fun stuff. I am part of our software department, mainly working on writing and coding the wiki pages. I like to listen to music, read books and sleep when I have free time!

Hi! My name is Faiza and I am a junior at DNHS. This is my first year being a part of iGEM, and I’ve had such a blast and honor working with such amazing teammates as a part of the HP + SciComm department. Other than iGEM, I love playing the flute and reading comic books!

Hi! I'm Nupur and I am a sophomore at Del Norte High school. This is my first year competing at IGEM and I am with the software team. I love working with my team to learn more about science and help educate others in the community about important issues. Besides from IGEM, I love to play tennis and listen to music.

This is my first year at iGEM and I’m part of our beloved software department where I can use my scope of imagination to create a website with my team. Aside from trying to debug infinite lines of code, I spend my time embroidering, writing and reading novels.

I worked with my team to survey our community on their knowledge of plastic pollution and develop educational tools like our guidebook. In my free time, I like to travel, listen to music, dance, and crochet.

This is my first year in iGEM and I’m part of DNHS iGEM’s Research department, so I help with developing parts through wet lab experiments, digital modeling, and compiling results for the project. I love reading books, listening to music, and playing tennis whenever I can!

Hi, my name’s Vidha, and I’m currently a sophomore. This is my first year in iGEM, and I’m a member of iGEM’s research department. I contribute to modeling, analyzing project results, and overviewing research topics, all which have been rewarding experiences for me. Outside of iGEM, I love to read, play the violin, and write stories!

Hi there! I’m Jason and I am currently a junior. This is my first year participating in iGEM and I am part of the research department! My main jobs this year was to do a lot of wet lab research, keep the lab journal updated, communicate with our mentors, and ensure everyone is on the same page on the progress of our research. Aside from iGEM and biology, I also especially love chemistry and history. Some of my hobbies include reading books and manga, wasting too much of my soul on gacha games, and playing trumpet in a few ensembles!

Hi, I'm Tanvi, a sophomore in my first year with iGEM. I'm part of the fantastic HP/SciComm team, where I engage with our community about our project and also give back by organizing summer camps, conducting surveys, and interviewing community members. In my free time, I enjoy running, dancing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
