Competition Deliverables
Project Attributions
On our Attributions page, we provided a concise summary of the work done by each member throughout the summer, as well as the contributions made by our collaborators and partners.
Project Description
On our Description page, we discussed the motivation behind our project, and provided a detailed introduction to B.Max.
Contribution to iGEM
On our Contribution page, we discuss the protocols that we have developed for B. subtilis, as well as the parts that we have contributed to the registry.
Silver Medal Criteria
Engineering Success
On our Engineering page, we have demonstrated the design-build-test-learn cycles employed to knock out sporulation, increase expression of biofilm-associated genes, and the biosensor 2-component system.
Human Practices
To create a project that is responsible and good for the world, we contacted a wide variety of stakeholders, including those academic and industrial. To read more about this, check out our Human Practices page.
Gold Medal Criteria
Best New Composite Part
On our Parts page, we have presented our part, spoIIE Knockout, a fully contained part that when introduced would knock out sporulation in B. subtilis.
Best Part Collection
We put together a Part Collection that contains the parts that we used to develop a strong biofilm-forming B. subtilis strain that other teams can build upon.
Best Integrated Human Practices
On our Integrated Human Practices page, we recorded the academics and industrial experts that we talked to, and how their input contributed to our project.
