My name is ZhuangRan, a Chinese fresh student of high middle school. I like dancing, and my favourite types are Swag and Locking. I’m the captain of our team. And I am interested in the field of biology and environmental science. I have gained a lot form the the iGEM competition, not only the basic knowledge of biology and chemistry, but the most important is the experience of having experiments. I have never been in a lab before, so this experience gives me a better understanding of what I will have to face in the future when I study the course of Biology. What I have learned before may be limited to book knowledge, whatever, this experience is very valuable to me.

Zhang Haobo

My name is Zhang Haobo, and I am an experimental operator in the wet team. I love molecular biology and biochemistry, and I really enjoy experimenting and creating new things in the lab. The IGem experiment competition is an important step towards my goal in life. From this experiment, I have acquired the basic knowledge of biological experiments and trained my innovation and experimental ability.

Alexander Z Hao

Hi, I am Alexander, a high school student from RDFZICC, Beijing China. I like outdoor sports and games, I am also a cat lover who likes jazz. But the most important thing is that I have had a keen interest in biology since I was very small. The experience of participating iGEM wet team deepened my understanding of the biological knowledge learned in class, enriched my laboratory experience, and I also learned how to use a lot of special equipment. This is a very valuable experience for me.

Gu Haixuan

My name is GU HAIXUAN, from China. I’m in the international department of Beijing National Day School. I am good at design, drawing, and experimental operation. I completed the experiment in cooperation with my teammates. In this competition, I learned a lot of experimental operations, such as the use of pipette gun, the use of super clean table and how to configure LB medium. In addition, I also learned practical skills like how to design experiments and how to write experimental operations.

Liu Yuanwei

I am a member of the wet lab team. I mainly conducted the experiment on Nickelating Purification, plasmid extraction, and enlage cultivation. I also write a part of the result section on the wiki page.

Xu Zixuan

Hi, I am Zixuan Xu currently attending iGEM projects in 2023 investigating the Covid-19 vaccine. I am interested in biology and virus-related studies, so I looked forward to being part of this team as it’s a rare opportunity for me to work in the lab. Through the iGEM competition, I’m able to acquire useful skills such as teamwork and lab skills that were beneficial in the future. The time I spent in the lab with other team members had been meaningful and I will do my best to support my teams to achieve our goals.

Zhao Zitong

Hi, I’m Zhao Zitong. I have a keen interest in biology and medicine. It's a great honor to participate in the iGEM team to truly learn and feel the knowledge and experiments about vaccines. I hope that in this process, I can learn more about biomedicine and have some personal experience in the laboratory. In fact, I did gain a lot in the process, which helped me develop critical thinking, teamwork skills, and qualities that I should constantly explore as a researcher, and also I am looking forward to more impressive moments in this competition.

Chen Baicheng

Hey there, I'm Mark (Baicheng Chen). I'm 16 years old and I'm a student at Beijing No.2 Middle School. I'm planning to study Applied Mathematics in college. But I'm also very curious about other subjects, so I joined the iGEM wet lab team. In iGEM, my main responsibility is handling data and doing some modeling. In addition, I've even rolled up my sleeves for hands-on experiments and learned a lot of teamwork skills.Looking ahead, I'm thinking of adding Biology to my college journey as a minor if possible! Just imagine, mixing math with biology, sounds pretty intriguing, right?

Hello! My name is Bangyan Liu. I’m participating in iGEM 2023 with the project of investigating the Covid-19 vaccine. I have a keen interest in genetic engineering as it’s fascinating to see how teeny pairs of genes could alter entire organisms. Therefore, I’m excited about the program that we engaged in since it can help us immune to the virus or anesis the symptom. Throughout the experiment, I am able to operate with lab equipment and gain noteful experience in genetic engineering. Additionally, I spent meaningful time working with other teammates and learned a lot from them.

I'm Bi Wenhao. I'm a member of the wet team. In the team, I mainly undertake the task of experimental production. Complete the experiment carefully during the training process, and actively participate in every link of the experiment. Hihi~ I am Elsa Han, a graduated ninth grader at Beijing World Youth Academy. This is my first time at IGEM; indeed, it is a very new and exciting experience for me. And I certainly enjoy the process, too; I love my team and all the new friends I meet. We met challenges, and together, we went through all of them. The experience is worth the hard work; I am proud of our team.

Dou Jingyuan

My name is Dou Jingyuan, I am a high school student and I want to major in marketing in the future. this is my first year on iGEM competition and I love all the friends I made during the preparation of the iGEM. The iGEM competition has benefited me a lot and improved my learning skills in all aspects. During the preparation period, I cooperated with my teammates to complete the work and established a good friendship. I didn't know much about vaccines before I entered the competition, but during the preparation I really learned a lot about it. This competition not only let me learn professional knowledge, but also let me make a lot of good friends, it is an unforgettable experience.

My name's Xinyi Wang and I'm currently a sophomore in high school. I'm majoring in business with a minor in science. Even though it's my first year participating in IGEM, the amazing teammates make me feel like we're all really close. Although I often work late until midnight, the team's fascinating projects and everyday activities make me absolutely love IGEM. Throughout my time in iGEM, I've been focusing on managing our team's social media accounts and creating content. Because of my artistic talent, I've also taken charge of most of the team's designs and so on.

Li Yezhou

Hello, I'm Li Yezhou, a grade 10 student from Huijia School in Beijing. I want to study finance in the future. This is my first time participating in iGEM, and during this process, I made many new friends. While making efforts together to complete our tasks, we had a very happy time. I have learned a lot about viruses and vaccines through this experience, and have exercised a lot in business planning. I have also completed many interesting activities such as making posters, models, and drawings that I am interested in. I will say this is an unforgettable and rewarding experience.

This is my first time attending IGEM as a member of the dry lab, I could feel the passion and corporations on the first day we met. which stimulates my contribution together to achieve the medals. Hello everyone, I am Xiao Yuxiang and currently studying at Montevista Christian School. My hobbies include playing tennis, volleyball, hiking, and playing the guitar.During my school years, I developed a strong interest in biology courses, and participating in this IGEM gave me a deeper sense of the application of biology course knowledge in my daily life.
