1) General provisions:

a- Wearing overalls, no eating or drinking.

b- After leaving the lab, clean it up and throw the biological waste into the designated trash can.

c- High-temperature gloves must be worn when performing high-temperature experiments.

 

2) Experimental provisions:

a- Determine the label on the container when using the medicine.

b- Experiments on hazardous gases must be carried out in fume hoods.

c- Waste medicine into a dedicated container.

d- Highly volatile or easy-to-oxidize chemicals must be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.

 

3)  Pretreatment of laboratory injuries:

a-Ordinary wound: wash the wound with saline solution and fix it with tape.

b-Burning (burning) injury: rinse with cold water for 15 to 30 minutes to dissipate heat and relieve pain. Wipe with physiological salt water (do not apply with ointment, toothpaste, soy sauce, or cover with gauze) and send to hospital in an emergency. (Note: blisters cannot be punctured by themselves)

c-Chemical burns: Rinse with plenty of water and cover the wound with sterile gauze or sterilized cloth, and send to the hospital for emergency treatment.

 

4)  Experiment main materials information:

a- Strains: we only use E. coli for experiments including DH5 α  and BL21 which were provided by SubCat.

b- Plasmid: Pet-28a is provided SubCat.

c- DNA/RNA: we ordered our gene materials from Genscript.
