About our Team!
Westview iGEM is a high school team with 22 members located in San Diego, California. After seeing the amount of trash on our local beaches, we researched how much PET plastic was in the ocean and decided to conduct a project where we could have an impact both locally and in the world. We organized meetings every week, completed procedures in lab, and created models of our projects while opening up partnerships with labs, other iGEM teams, and mentors!
