In the realm of synthetic biology, the integration of engineering principles is pivotal to our team's success. Our approach is twofold: Wetlab and Drylab. In the Wetlab, we engage in hands-on molecular biology techniques to identify, build and characterise a pathways for biocementation then subsequently, a pathway for denitrification of ammonia byproducts. Our Drylab, on the other hand, focuses on building a cost-effective mini biofoundry that enables us to automate the urease and carbonic anhydrase assays to complement and enhance our wet lab efforts. Together, these multidisciplinary approaches enable us to innovate and solve complex biological problems efficiently.
