Criterion Description Guide
Competition Deliverables We designed and submitted our wiki, project promotion video, presentation video and judging form. We are also excited about the opportunity to be at the venue for judging session! Here is the link of our Promotion Video.
Project Attribution On the attribution page, we summarized each team member’s work content and contribution to our project. We also appreciated all those who supported and assisted us with our project. Click here to get our attribution page.
Project Description This year, we designed and proposed NOX (Neo-quOrum sensing-based Xpression biosensor platform) to provide a highly compatible and robust platform with impressive performance, taking advantage of synthetic biology to construct an artificially-organized signaling pathway. To get more information of our project description, please click here.
Contribution We are implementing a cross-disciplinary project this year, mixing the knowledge from different fields to coordinate them. Since we are constructing a compatible platform this year, we have designed and created modules from wet-lab to dry-lab. Our team also added information to part BBa_K3202045. Please read more on the Contribution page, and the part mentioned could be found here.

Criterion Description Guide
Engineering Success We propose a trace chemical detection platform combining modeling and hardware design. We are fully aware that the standardized engineering cycle (design, build, test, and learn) is even more critical to our cross-disciplinary work, and we followed it strictly and explored it innovatively. We created some new parts and BBa_K4619010 is one of them. Read more about the Engineering Success we have reached. And here is the new part we have created.
Human Practices The human practices page showcases our considerations regarding the application scenarios, advantages, and potential usage risks associated with NOX. It outlines how we can effectively implement NOX in practical settings. Learn about our Human Practices for detailed work. For background information, pros and cons of NOX, please click Implementation for detailed consideration.

Gold Medal

Criterion Description Guide
Excellence in Synthetic Biology We consider the composite parts we designed and the models we built and used are the excellence work we done in synthetic biology, and contribute to the iGEM community as well. Please check out our New Composite Part and Model.
Specializations After delicate design, our hardware is carefully assembled and improved following the engineering cycle, leading to a low-cost, modular designed, and multi-functional user-friendly device. We consider this work to be a contender for the best hardware. Visit our Hardware page for more imformation.
