So what's the policy?
The goal of this policy review paper is to present a general knowledge of the Canadian Government's regulations on Agricultural Sprays, and to present our understanding of the regulations from the point of view of an undergraduate iGEM team. During the course of our research project, many members of the team noted an unease from the public relating to the usage of agricultural sprays on crops. As our biosynthetic construct relies on the use of agricultural sprays, we felt that given feedback from the public our project would benefit greatly from a review of current policies on agricultural spray regulation in Canada.
