Heavy Metal Pollution Project Design Visualize

Team Aachen:Heavy metal pollution project design visualize
As mentioned on the integrated page, we want to explore the feasibility and impact of promoting the application of CoPlat in environmental restoration. Therefore, we contacted team Aachen, dedicated to the issue of heavy metal pollution, trying to collaborate with them.

Therefore, in July, we had an online meeting with team Aachen. In this meeting, we were discussing the form of collaboration.

Meeting with Aachen

The final decision is to attempt the integration of both projects on the application level and create a visual picture. Through this picture, we can try to use our project and Aachen's project to address environmental issues. Raising public awareness of environmental restoration issues. This aims to achieve the goal of visual education.

In addition, we also decided to invite team Aachen to be the guest on our education podcast. In August, we had a second online meeting, discussing the cycle and the content of our podcast in detail, hoping to give the public a deeper understanding of this issue.

Raise Environmental Awareness

In the process of exchanging ideas with team Aachen, we came into contact with the issue of environmental restoration.

Team GEMS-Taiwan : Beach Cleanup Participation Form

In August, we joined a beach cleanup held by GEMS_Taiwan at Shalun. Such activity aligns well with our team’s commitment to making a positive impact while working on iGEM projects. We share the concern for the environment as we hope our “CoPlat” can also help to make the place we live better, resonating with the values of iGEM. Joining activities outside of labs reminds and highlights us of the practical impact of our project on the environment as well as the precious opportunity for team bonding.

Team Aix-Marseille:a photo of a plant and our team members

In July, we received an invitation from Aix-Marseille to share with them a photo of us and a plant in our school. We posted the picture on our Instagram story and shared an anecdote about the tree in the picture. Sharing a story has brought about unexpected inspiration and positive responses. This endeavor goes beyond sharing a mere photo – it's an opportunity for interaction, enabling us to share our enthusiasm and mission with a broader audience. Through this collaboration, we not only conveyed our mission but sparked several ideas about social media strategies. We intend to integrate such experience into future promotional activities in different social media platforms to better promote our projects.
