The following is our inclusive plan, but due to time constraints, we have only done a small part of it
Background
In China, poor high school students often have difficulty accessing advanced science and technology, such as synthetic biology, due to a lack of resources. To address this issue, we propose an inclusive future plan aimed at providing these students with learning resources in synthetic biology and related biotechnologies.
Future plan

1. Construction of online resource platform

Build a public welfare website

Set up a special section in the project Wiki, which is divided into scientific sections (mainly covering synthetic biology and other biotechnology-related content), question bank and fundraising section.
1. Scientific division: Provides popular explanations, basic principles and theoretical foundations of synthetic biology, as well as illustrations of genetic engineering technology. You can also extend the questions to deepen your understanding.
2. Question bank: Encourage free questions and answers, or set up a Q&A section to solve common problems students encounter in the learning process.
3. Fundraising column: Funds raised are used to purchase learning resources, such as books and experimental materials, and donations are invested in the science education fund.

Online promotion

Utilize social media and video platforms such as Bilibili to produce and publish relevant instructional videos and promotional materials to increase the impact and coverage of the project.

2. Offline resource support

Distribution of paper resources

Print and purchase relevant books and materials and give them to target students for free to provide physical learning resources.

Offline promotion

Promote the project through traditional media and public events, such as attaching the project URL to conditioner and other products, and participating in community activities to increase public awareness of the project.

3. Project goals and significance

Connecting High School Curriculum to Synthetic Biology

Through the project, we connect high school biology courses with synthetic biology knowledge, broaden students' knowledge, and provide them with more academic and career options.

Alleviating the lack of learning resources caused by poverty

Provide easy-to-understand synthetic biology learning resources for poor high school students to help them overcome the shortage of learning resources caused by poverty and expand their knowledge and future employment horizons.

Definition of poor high school students

Poverty-stricken high school students usually refer to high school students whose families have poor economic conditions and are unable to obtain sufficient learning resources and opportunities. The specific definition may need to be determined based on local economic conditions and distribution of educational resources.

significance

Through the above programs, we hope to increase poor high school students’ awareness and interest in synthetic biology and provide them with more learning resources and opportunities to achieve inclusiveness and equality in education.
