Team

Gaetan is our supervisor, guiding us through everything from experimental design to pitch talking. Being one of the first to work on CRISPR in Australia, he is a highly experienced researcher and an amazing supervisor.

Jovita is one of our lab supervisors and is in charge of training us and guiding us in our experiments.

Arash is one of our lab supervisors knowledgable in protein purification and guides us in our experiments.

Jack is our student supervisor with experience in similar challenges and projects. He has guided us through everything and taught us a great deal about pitch talks and sponsorship opportunities.

Hugh is a synthetic biology student, with a keen interest in protein design and active site chemistry. Experienced in neural networks, he has focused on the design and expression of the Arsenic binder encapsulin system.

Sabrina is a biochemistry student with a focus on microbiology and immunology. With her research experience in microbes, she is mainly working on engineering bacteriophages for delivery of our proposed bioremediation system.

Olivia is a third year biochemistry student with a focus on biomedical science and she is taking part in the lab work.
