My name is Animesh Andhare and If I am not trying to understand hendrix theory, I'm probably trying to catch up on my growing reading list. Or maybe I'm thinking about why bush vipers produce neurotoxins capable of causing severe hemorrhaging. Depends on what I ate for breakfast. Synthetic biology was the coolest thing in the world as a freshman, and I feel that same wonder as a senior. As the team leader for our first year iGEM team, I hope to explore the applications of synthetic biology under a community of international biology enthusiasts.
Hey guys, I'm Hseih, Washington High School's iGEM advisor. Ive had a fun time working with my students in iGEM. In my free time I like to solve weird rubiks cubes and 3d print stuff.
I'm Anish Jaiswal and this is my first iGEM competiton. Ive been working on all the lab, and they call me the multilab. In my free time I enjoy watching Marvel, new Loki season(big fan), and I'm caught up with One Piece.
Siddhartha Shibi is a conference speaker, blogger, author, and soccer player. He has spoken at multiple AI/ML conferences about topics ranging from prediction of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) to integrating RLHF into humanoid robots. As a first-year member on the iGEM team, he has worked on modeling the behavior of gas vesicles by analyzing and modifying multiple equations about bubble dynamics such as the Rayleigh-Plesset equations. He, along with Animesh and Akshaya, have further delved into understanding the complex physics of bubble dynamics in synthetic biology, with the goal to develop more accurate and reliable models. He also assisted in ensuring project deadlines were met.
Hi, Im Waheed Khan and this is my first time doing igem. I have been doing various things such as leading the wiki team and helping out in the lab. I like playing basketball and I like playing video games such as valorant and call of duty. I have found the TV shows, flash, green arrow and many more interesting.
Hi my name is Veeraz and this is my first year participating in iGEM. I am working on the modeling and wet lab sections of the project. I enjoy playing basketball with my friends and I like researching cars.
Hey! My name is Niketana and I'm a person who loves being hands on and active. On this project I've mainly worked on the human practices section by helping both my team members and the community understand why and how our project is helpful. I’ve also emailed organizations and people trying to find lab space where my team could conduct their experiments. Outside of this project and in my free time I love playing badminton, hanging out with my friends and family, and rereading my favorite book while listening to some music.
Hi! I’m Sanskriti and I’ve contributed to the dry-lab portion of our project through lots of literature review and modeling. What I love about our project is the real-life impact that our research can have, and how it could improve medical technology. Outside of this project, I spend a lot of time playing chess, practicing photography, and reading.
Hi I’m Stella and I’m part of the wet-lab portion of our project. What I love about our project is how we are developing our research skills as well as our understanding of synthetic biology. Outside of this project, I spend a lot of time in marching band, orchestra, and painting.
Hey! My name is Kaeyaa Sane and this is my first time competing in the igem competition. I have experience in working in a lab as well have worked on many DNA sequencing databases. Igem has given me the opportunity to take my skills to the next level. I am honored to be a part of this team and am looking forward to the windows of opportunities that will open for me.
Hey! I am Charubhashini Srinath, a senior in High School. This is my first year at IGEM and I have enjoyed many aspects of this competition. iGEM is a great opportunity to create new connections, expand my knowledge on physics and biology, and gain my first hands on experience in a professional lab. Working together with a team of dedicated fellow high school students gave me a sense of unity. Outside of iGEM, I run cross country, enjoy physics and math, and practice digital art during my free time.
Hi I am Amy, this is my first year at iGEM. I am more of a math person but I've been growing a passion for biology. In my free time I like to play the piano.
My name is Ananya and I am currently a sophomore at Irvington high school and I am part of the wetlab group in IGEM. Some of my hobbies are playing badminton, watching TV, and drawing. During my free-time, I dance, play the flute, /and watch TV.
Hi, I am Reyaan Lakhani and this is my first iGEM competition. Though I have worked in the lab and been under strict timelines to publish, working in this competition is like nothing before. I was originally going to be an architect, but it drew me in once I learned about biology. In my free time, I love to watch movies and go to the Archery Range.
Hello, I'm Akshaya and I'm a senior from Washington High School. This is my first experience with iGEM and it has been quite a journey as part of the drylab team. I am an aspiring chemistry major and have been intrigued with the connection to synthetic biology. Apart from this, I love doing photography and drawing in my free time.
