The Jamboree was the apex of so many months of intense effort and dedication. Being there gives the certainty to belong to something bigger. During these days, we could discuss diverse, top level ideas with teams from all around the world, them too working to make their respective communities better. For our project, it was a unique opportunity to provide awareness on endometriosis and have better inputs for further improving our concept. All this with people of similar age and many interests in common.
We believe 21st century science is done by and for communities, with a direct influence of all stakeholders. The jamboree showed the power of a strong community for broadening one's knowledge in all aspects: from the more technical point of view to the ability of creating bonds to people from all backgrounds. These days provided unique opportunities to do exactly this both in and out of the event, which the whole team is immensely thankful for.
