She found her life too boring and wanted more challenges as well as friends, so she joined the 2023 iGEM team SJTU-BioX-Shanghai. She used to have the talent for doing experiments all night long and continuing to work during the day, but now she has realized that efficient sleep is more important for excellent performance.

Hi! This is Jiang Xianghai, now a senior of life science at SJTU. Usually I'm more into topics like evolution and archaeal physiology, so through this unique experience of researching and conducting a bioengineering& environmental project I indeed learned a lot. During spare time I prefer to be accompanied by anime, literature and ARPGs, and am recently quite obsessed in BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! - PLEASE just watch this anime, I’ll do ANYTHING!

I am a member of the iGEM modeling team who has a passion for both synthetic biology and diverse interests outside the lab. When I'm not modelling for genetic circuits, you can find me on the badminton court, where I love to shuttlecock my way to fitness. I am Zhenzhen Guo and glad to meet all the iGEM friends! I am a junior student in the school of design. In iGEM, I changed my role as a designer, and in charge of the part of wiki, so this is a brand new challenge for me. Outside of lad, I like drawing and I'm a movie fan as well.

Lin He is the supervisor of our team and the director of Bio-X, who gave us funding and university-related support. He founded iGEM team SJTU-BioX-Shanghai twelve years ago and has been supporting us since then.

Gang Ma is the supervisor of our team and the professor of Bio-X. He provided us the laboratory and basic instruments, and helped us to reach out to many experts for specific instruments and materials support. He kept following our progress and gave us advice in big picture.

Yushu Wang kept company with us the whole time. She cared about every step of us, provided guidance for equipments usage, and helped with all kinds of problems, from ordering materials to troubleshooting.

Chuan Xu is the mentor of our team and the research group leader of Bio-X Research Institute. He has patiently answered our questions and given us a lot of concrete guidance and support in the modelling and data analysis of the project.

Zijian Zhu's research direction is single cell detection. He is passionate about baseball and tennis. And he is good at communicating.
