Hello, everyone! My name is Luke Hu, and I come from Beijing, China. Currently, I am studying at Appleby College in Toronto, Canada. I have the privilege of serving as the team captain for our group in the iGEM competition. I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship, and at the same time, I sincerely enjoy design and reading. Currently, I am involved in sports such as rugby and ice hockey and am dedicated to maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. Some of my favorite books include "Currency Wars," " What it takes: Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence," and "Napoleon's Biography."

I am Xinyu Hu, you can also call me Cynthia, and I am from Shanghai Dehong International School. I may look shy, but I am happy to communicate with the others. My hobbies are fencing, playing Guqin and Chinese bamboo flute, and I have studied fencing for eight years. I was interested in Biology when I was young, and I want to have a job related to Biology, such as a doctor or a biologist.

Hi, I’m Angel Shi (Yixuan Shi), a member of the Shanghai-MedX team. I come from Harbin, China, and am a 10th-grade student at Saddle River Day School. I like playing clarinet and engaging in the upper school band in my spare time. Also, I want to play tennis in school. Sports are good ways for me to relax when I have pressure. I chose the iGEM activity this summer to increase my experience using the laboratory and enhance my academic level. Hi everyone, my name is Ada, a senior student at Shanghai Guanghua Cambridge International school-an a level one. My major is biochemistry; I love this field, but also because the choices are limited in a-level courses. In my daily life, I like to use we-media software, such as TikTok, but I prefer to be a viewer instead of posting myself online as I got a social phobia. Especially when acquaintances meet me online. By the way, my MBTI is isfj, the test is not very accurate, but part of it overlaps with my personality.

Hi, my name is Angela Yang, and I am honored to be here to introduce myself to you. I am 17 years old and currently studying at a girls' school called Badminton in Bristol, UK, in Year 12, which is Year 11 in China. I have a wide range of interests, including Egyptian culture, programming, ice skating, painting, music, dancing, piano, French Horn, and many more. In the meantime, I have caught up in my academic studies, and I have a keen interest and in-depth study in computing, mathematics, and biology. I am proficient in Java, Python, and C++.

The reason why I research biology is simply that I enjoy the process of learning biology and even look forward to every exam 🤭. Harmony Heming Li was born in 2007 and is an 11th-grade girl at Shanghai High School International Division. I love biology and calligraphy. In the DNA Day Essay Contest organized by the American Society of Human Genetics in 2023, I was one of the ten honorable mentions among 950 participants from over 40 countries. I designed calligraphy works for Cell Regeneration, the official journal of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, and received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Chinese Society for Cell Biology.

I am Joy Zhou come from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. I'm a six-form student at the Perse School in Cambridge and have spent the past five years studying in the UK. I have a great passion for learning different languages and did French and German as my GCSE subjects. For my talents, I used to learn the piano for eight years and got a grade of 7. I am now learning the oboe as an interest.

Hello, everyone. I'm Lydia Lu from Shanghai-MedX. I became interested in biology in junior high school and decided on my future major after I officially contacted AP courses and participated in related activities in high school. Daily, I like to watch movies on rainy days and enjoy music in the sound of rain. About music, I have a favorite lyric, "매일이 hustle life" (working hard every day). I am named Matthew, unimportant. As shown above, my outlook is poor. Now am I in SHSID education, and always am I a science guy with no interest in humanism. I have a solid ability in science fields, but I can still learn more in IT. In biology, I rose to significance by 9th grade, and after entering iGem in 2023, I collected knowledge about Gene Engineering and experiments. Now, I have no arms, and never have I encountered a mission with physical conflicts (I am peaceful).
