Hola, My name is Bruce and I am a 11th grade student studying at the International School of Beijing, my preferred career would be in both psychology and biology. I join this team to improve both my academic skills and my ability to communicate with fellow teammates. I love to adventure through the study and experimenting of biology as I get to learn more about things I couldn’t in school.

Hi! I am Dorothy Zhang from BNDS Grade 11. I have a great passion in biochemistry and medical science, and I dream to be a doctor in the future. Igem and iBowu hepl me to gain tons of knwoledge about synthetic biology, education and art. Also, I love to make clay art about nature and architecture.

Hi! This is Toby Chen from iBowu-China. This synthetic biology project is enjoyable because it allowed me to actualize my theoretical knowledge. Biology is the study of life, which is, needless to say, interesting enough, but I felt even more honored to take that knowledge and make lives better. Outside of biology, I enjoy painting and composing poetry - other ways to reify my most bizarre fantasies.

Hey everyone, it’s Ivy Tjoeng from 2023-iBowu China! I’m currently a sophomore in Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA. I believe that iGem is a great opportunity to inspire young scholars from all over the world to challenge their thinking in various fields of biology. I am so glad to be part of the competition this year, as it has not only taught me about genetic engineering, but most importantly, the value of cooperation and teamwork. I look forward to seeing more students attend this competition, and to learn more from their projects myself.

Hi everybody, I am Qiyue Hu from iBowu-China. Currently, I am a Grade 11 student in Beijing No.4 High School International Campus. Since my childhood, I have been curious about life science and the complex and mysterious nature. Exploring life, exploring the unknown is what I do and want to do. Attending iGem this year would get me more goal-oriented, meanwhile provides me a platform to explore and an opportunity to further learn knowledge, which is a precious experience in my life.

Hi,I am Charlie Tian, a member of iBowu-China. At present I study as a 11th-grade high-school student in RDFZ International Department. I have been extremely fascinated by biology since I was in the junior-high school, when I began to learn biology for the first time. I am the member of iBowu-team in iGEM. I enjoy the process of engaging in the part of doing experiments and other works related to our theme. Fortunately, I have learned a lot from the experiences of participating in iGEM, and I really appreciate it. I believe that I could make a huge process very soon after I join the team of iBowu.

Hello everyone, I am Lucian from BHSFIC, and I am now in iBowu-China team. According to my own knowledge, biology and the subjects highly related to it will have a bright future, and actually, today’s development of these subjects is still at a low level comparing to its future, which means they are quite potential, and they even have practical uses that people never thought about. I think that’s the main reason I chose biology as my major.

Hi everyone, I am Grace He from iBowu-China. I am currently studying in Beijing No.4 High School International Campus as a 11 grade student. This is the first time for me to touch the area of synthetic biology. It is difficult but fun. I learned a lot during igem. My interest is in art designing and my future major is likely to be related to it. I have designed some peripherals for the team. Hope you guys likes them!

Hi everyone, I am Sylvie Li from team iBowu-China. I am currently studying in the experimental high school attached to Beijing Normal University, and my interest in biology can be traced back to many aspects, including family influence at a young age. The IGEM competition has allowed me to delve deep into the fascinating world of synthetic biology, and utilize my knowledge to create truly useful products.

Hi everyone! I'm Loria Wang from iBowu-China, and I am currently studying at SDSZ International Department as a high school student. I am interested in biochemistry and environmental science. These two fields have captivated my attention due to their significant impact on our world and the potential they hold for addressing pressing global challenges. I believe that with continuous efforts and attempts, we will be able to unravel more mysteries of life and the environment, gain comprehensive abilities, achieve good results and benefit the society around us through iGEM.

I liked biology since I was a child because I lived in a small city near the ocean and one of my favorite things to do was get to know all the interesting animals and plants. Joining IGEM is a valuable chance for me to connect with people with my interests and support the community with our exploration. I prefer to major in oceanography or environmental science in the future.

I developed an interest in biology due to its complexity and relevancy to every day subjects. It especially fulfills my curiosity as a field that's constantly progressing. My passion in this field led me to iGEM, where I discovered those with the same enthusiasm, and cooperated with them to form creative solutions. My future career is currently undetermined; however, I wish to study biomed and business in college.

I am Pengjun Guo, a passionate lover of Biology, who dreams of harnessing the power of biomolecules to create a better world. I am particularly intrigued by the fields of medicinal chemistry and computer-powered statistics. My involvement in IGEM has granted me a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the dynamics of scientific group collaboration, ultimately enriching my personal growth. I feel incredibly fortunate to be working alongside teammates who possess both an abundance of knowledge and unwavering enthusiasm.

Hi, dear viewers, I’m Berry Li from iBowu China. I am very eager to explore the ocean of Biology. Joining in IGEM community, I aim to set sail to my own molecular biology experiment experience. In the future, my present skills will be applied to change the world toward a good direction.

I have been fascinated by the differences in how different small seeds grow into different fruits and how the same crops behave completely differently in the same environment since I was a child. Through learning about biotechnology, I have the opportunity to explore the essence of life. Joining IGEM will allow me to meet many different partners and expose myself to many different perspectives. In the future, my academic direction may be towards biology or physics.
