About Dengue
Dengue is an acute insect-borne infectious disease caused by dengue
virus transmitted by mosquitoes.Because the disease is transmitted
by Aedes mosquitoes, the epidemic has a certain seasonal, generally
in May to November every year, the peak in July to September. The
death rate after the first case of dengue fever is 1% to 5%, and the
death rate after the second case is 100%.
Introduction
Nowadays,Dengue is an important emerging public health problem
that have millions ofviral infections occur each year. there is currently
no effective treatment.
Background
01. Howevers, there is a lack of effective in vitro
high-throughput screening methods and medicine to
find potentialinhibitors of rna helicase, a quick
screening method is required
02. Therefore, we aim to design a drug screening
system to discover medicine and vaccines to cure
and suppress dengue.
PROJECT GOAL
01. Our objective in this project is to construct a
highthroughput screening model that can rapidly
identify potential helicase inhibitors for thtreat-
ment of dengue fever.
02. To achieve this goal, we first obtained the sequence of
the helicase through analysis. Next, we employed molecular
cloning and protein purification methods to obtain a highly
effeective NS3 protease.
03. To achieve this goal, we
first obtained the sequence of the helicase through
analysis.
04. Our results contribute to the development of NS3
protease inhibitors and medicine discovery.
